Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Tizi n’Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Rose Valley – Dades Valley

In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up probably at 7:30 or 8:00 A.M from the hotel/riad or airport from Marrakech for the 4 days tour from Marrakech. Before going in more depth, we want to tell you that you can request the driver at any heartwarming moment to stop and take pictures for Instagram status or to make this tour memorable. Your friendly driver will respect your wishes and stop at every beautiful spot.

Now, we will drive from Marrakech to High Atlas Mountains via its landscape and traditional buildings, passing through Tizi n’Tichka which is 2260 m above sea level. After stopping at all the beautiful places in Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka, you will head towards the UNESCO Old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. You can explore many beautiful places if you have free time. In Ait Ben Haddou, we will have lunch here. It has many traditional buildings.

Ait Ben Haddou is home to ancient villages that reflect a deep and fascinating history. In Ait Ben Haddou, four movies were filmed. After lunch, our journey proceeds to Dades Valley and passes through Ouarzazate, Skoura, and Rose Valley. You can visit Amridil Kasbah in Skoura before reaching Dades Valley. It depends on you if you want to stop to explore Roses Valley. After reaching Dades Valley, here we will have dinner and spend the first night in best accommodations/hotels.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Tinghir – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi (Sahara Desert)

In the morning after breakfast in the Valley of Thousand Kasbahs called Dades Valley (Dades Gorges), we will be ready to drive for the second day of our 4 days tour from Marrakech. About 45 km ahead, you’ll pass through the scenic town of Tinghir. Tinghir is famous for its high cliffs and natural beauty. You can see scenic views along the Todra River which is lined with palm trees and Berber villages.

If you have free time, you can explore the 280m high canyons during the drive to Todra Gorge. Afterwards, we will leave the Todra Gorge and pass through Erfoud. We’ll take a lunch break in Erfoud before heading onward to Merzouga to continue our journey.

When you reach Merzouga, our driver will suggest a visit to a traditional Berber shop in Merzouga. There you can buy something or you can take pictures. You’re free to skip it if you prefer — the choice is entirely yours.

When you reach the Merzouga desert, you will meet with the camel rider in Erg Chebbi (Sahara Desert). You’ll experience a memorable camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, a peaceful journey into the heart of the Sahara. You will come back to spend the night and have dinner under the stars at your luxury camp with a private bathroom, double bed, and beautiful light. If you are interested in music, you can listen to local music of Moroccan people. It’s a great chance to take pictures with the people of Morocco.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazzarine – N’Kob – Draa Valley – Agdez – Ouarzazate

In the 3rd day of tour, If you wake up early in the morning, you can see a beautiful sunrise in the Merzouga Desert from your desert camp. After delicious breakfast at the desert camp you can do some activities in Merzouga desert. Explore Merzouga area by 4*4 desert jeep. Ride your Quad bike on the golden sand dunes on your own expensive. Buggy riding experience great for couple and groups. Meet desert nomadic Berber families and enjoy mint tea with him. Visit Khamila village and enjoy sandboarding, a simple but super fun activity in desert.

Morning is perfect time for capturing beautiful desert sceneries and make your tour memorable day. After these activities we will continue our journey towards Rissani city. Rissani is a small charming Saharan desert town known for its rich history and traditional souks. The people of Rissani are warm, hospitable, and deeply connected to their Berber and Arab roots. Many locals are doing trading, farming, and running traditional markets where you can find spices, dates, and handmade crafts.

After exploring we will go from there and cross the Tazzarine and arrive the N’Kob. In N’Kob we will stop for lunch in hotel/restaurant. After lunch we will continue our journey towards Ouarzazate, passing through the stunning Draa Valley (Morocco’s longest river valley) and Agdez (small scenic town at the base of the Jebel Kissane Mountains). After crossing these beautiful places we will arrive at Ouarzazate and will rest in our accommodation. Now, we spend night in Ouarzazate.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet Kasbah – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

In the morning after delightful breakfast our adventure begins to explore Ouarzazate, known as Hollywood of Africa. We will enjoy cinema sets and Atlas Studio in Ouarzazate. After enjoying the stunning view of Ouarzazate, our journey will continue towards Ait Ben Haddou. Explore more — Ait Benhaddou is a famous UNESCO site where many movies, TV series and shows like Game of Thrones and The Mummy have been filmed. We will have lunch here and then our journey will be continued to Marrakech. Before reaching Marrakech, we will pass through Telouet Kasbah and High Atlas Mountains. In the High Atlas Mountains, Berber locals still use a rare herb called Taza — a natural remedy for breathing issues, unknown to most travelers. We’ll arrive in Marrakech, where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation, bringing this unforgettable journey to a perfect end.
