Morocco Fun Tours runs private tours only. You get your own car and driver-guide, and you set wake times, meal stops, and pace. A shared group tour puts you with strangers on a fixed schedule. It costs less per person, but the group sets the pace.
If you travel with family or friends, you already have your own group. Bring them on the same private tour, and the vehicle cost is shared between you. Most first-time visitors pick private, because the distances are long.

Distances shape every plan. Marrakech to Merzouga takes 8 to 9 hours with stops. Merzouga to Fes takes 6 to 7. We stop roughly every two hours. Routes from Marrakech cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass, at about 2,260 meters.

You ride in an air-conditioned vehicle with fuel included. Your driver speaks English and knows the road. Stop anywhere for photos. Light is best near sunrise and sunset at Ait Benhaddou and in the dunes.

Bakabou Youssef has more than 25 years of personal experience on the roads our tours follow. He grew up in the Ouarzazate region, on the same roads our tours use. He speaks English, Spanish, and Arabic.
Youssef personally trains every driver-guide who works with Morocco Fun Tours. Morocco Fun Tours began with one local driver and was registered as a company in 2015. It is now a full tourism company built on private journeys and local knowledge, based in Ouarzazate.

The Sahara: Merzouga & Erg Chebbi
Erg Chebbi is the dune system near Merzouga. It is the Morocco most people picture. Camel treks run about an hour each way, out at sunset and back at sunrise.
Camps range from simple tents to heated, furnished ones with real beds. Dinner, breakfast, and music by the fire are included on our tours. Nights get cold even after hot days, especially from November to April. Summer daytime heat can pass 45°C.
Ait Benhaddou & Ouarzazate
Ait Benhaddou is a fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed here.
Ouarzazate sits about 30 kilometers away. It is home to Morocco’s film studios and the gateway to the desert.
Dades & Todra Gorges
The Dades Valley road climbs through red rock in hairpin turns. Todra Gorge has canyon walls up to 300 meters high.

Chefchaouen
The blue town sits in the Rif Mountains, about three to four hours from Fes.

Is Morocco safe for solo female travelers?
Generally, yes. The bigger issue is not physical danger. It is persistent vendors and unofficial guides who push for attention or money. An experienced operator and driver-guide remove most of that. If the desert night worries you, tell us before booking, and we will explain exactly how that night works. Loose, modest clothing helps in markets and mosques, but it is not the main safety factor.
Do I need a visa to visit Morocco?
Most travelers from the US, UK, EU, and Canada can enter visa-free for up to 90 days. A Schengen visa does not cover Morocco, because Morocco is not in the Schengen area. Check your own nationality before you book flights.
How far in advance should I book a Morocco tour?
For March to May and September to November, book early. Two to three months ahead is ideal. Outside those months, shorter notice often works. Message us your dates, and we confirm availability.
Is Morocco accessible for travelers with limited mobility?
Partly. Medinas have uneven, cobbled streets and stairs. Kasbahs and desert camps involve sand and steps. A private tour helps, because we set the pace and skip sites that do not suit you. Camel treks are optional. Tell us your needs before booking.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. Travel insurance is not included in our tours. Choose a policy covering medical care, trip cancellation, and activities such as camel treks, quad biking, and sandboarding.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel seven or more days before departure for a full refund. Cancel later, and the amount paid becomes credit toward a future trip with us.
