The 5 Days Morocco Tour from Casablanca. You will visit amazing places of Morocco during these 5 days and 4 nights. The tour starts with a visit to the city of Casablanca, then to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and Meknes, the Ismaili capital. Then Fez, the cultural city. We then head south, visiting the Switzerland of Morocco, Ifrane, and also the cedar forest. We will also visit Midelt, the Ziz valley, the traditional market of Rissani and Erfoud, the city of fossils.
Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez
This 5 Days Morocco Tour from Casablanca departs from your hotel and heads to Rabat, where we will visit the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah des Oudayas. Continue to Meknes to visit the gates of the medina and the Royal Palace. We will then visit Volubilis on a guided tour, before heading to Fez, where we will spend the night in a local riad.
Day 2: Guided tour of Fez
Today we will explore the medina of Fez on a guided tour. We will visit the main sights, including the Andalusian Mosque, the famous tanneries, the Medersas, and also visit the new part of the city. Overnight in a local hotel.
Day 3: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
Today we will drive to Ifrane, nicknamed the “Switzerland of Morocco”. Then we will visit Midelt and travel to Erfoud, famous for its fossils. We continue to the village of Merzouga, from where we ride camels through the Sahara dunes. We arrive at our desert camp, watch the sunset and, after dinner by the campfire, listen to the Berber drums. Night in desert tents.
Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Today, you will see the sunrise in the desert of Merzouga, then ride camels back to the village. After breakfast, we will drive to Rissani, visit Tinghir and explore the Todra Gorges, which are the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch, we will continue to the Dades Valley, where we will explore the sand castles and rock formations known as “monkey fingers”. Overnight in the Dades Gorges in a local hotel with dinner.
Day 5: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Today we will cross the road of a thousand kasbahs and explore Kalaat Mgouna, the center of the Valley of the Roses. We will visit Ouarzazate and visit the kasbah of Ait Ben haddou. Then we will cross the port of Tizi N’Tichka to reach Marrakech and drop you off at your hotel. End of the 5 Days Morocco Tour from Casablanca.
