Overview

From Marrakech Menara Airport, you will be picked up by our driver. After pickup, we will go to explore the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and souks of Marrakech. Next day after breakfast at hotel/riad, our official guide will take you through the old city (Medina) of Marrakech. After exploring Marrakech city, stay for 2nd day overnight in Marrakech. On 3rd day in the morning after breakfast, we will drive for Casablanca. 

Visit Hassan II Mosque and then continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Explore key sites: Royal Palace walls, Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and Oudaya Kasbah and then overnight stay in Rabat. In the morning after breakfast, drive through Rif Mountains and arrive in Chefchaouen. In free time, explore souks and local crafts. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen. 

After breakfast in Chefchaouen, visit Volubilis Roman ruins (UNESCO site). We leave Volubilis and go to explore Meknes: Bab Mansour gate & historic sites. Our next destination is Fez in the evening. Now we will stay in Fez for 1 night. After breakfast in Fez, our Fez exploring day will start, and we will visit the oldest imperial city. Also, we will visit medersas, mosques, mausoleums, and traditional fountains. 

We explore the vibrant medina, souks, and artisan quarters and see a panoramic view from the Merenid Tombs. And then at night, stay in Fez. In the morning, we will drive through Middle Atlas Mountains, with stops in Ifrane and Azrou, and then visit cedar forests and enjoy lunch in Midelt. Our journey will continue via Ziz Valley and Erfoud to reach Merzouga. 

Here you can enjoy a sunset camel trek across Erg Chebbi dunes. After enjoying, overnight stay in a Sahara desert camp with dinner and local music. On 8th day of the tour, sunrise over Sahara dunes. We have a chance to enjoy a camel ride back to Merzouga. Then we will drive through Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra Gorges, enjoy hiking and scenic views at Todra Canyon. Our journey continues to Dades Valley for overnight stay with dinner. In the morning on the next day, visit Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves. 

Explore Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate. And then visit Aït Ben Haddou (UNESCO site & film location). We will drive through High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass. On 9th day, we will arrive in Marrakech and overnight stay. On the last day, we will transfer to Marrakech Airport based on your flight time. This is the end of the 10 Days Tour from Marrakech.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrivals at Marrakech Airport Comfortable Transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, Our Friendely English-speaking Local and official driver Yousif will pick you with a name sign and assist you with baggage. You’ll then enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel or traditional riad in the city center. After check-in, you’ll have some time to relax and settle, perhaps enjoy a mint tea at your riad’s courtyard or rooftop.

In the late afternoon or evening, take a walk to the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you’ll experience the heartbeat of Marrakech—street performers, food stalls, and lively local culture. You can also wander through the colorful souks nearby, known for traditional crafts and Moroccan treasures. You may choose to enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at a local restaurant with views over the square. Overnight stay in Marrakech at your hotel/riad.

DAY 2: MARRAKECH – GUIDED CITY TOUR & HISTORICAL LANDMARKS

After breakfast, your official local guide will meet you at your accommodation. You’ll begin your walking tour through the crowded alleys of the old Medina, where every turn reveals a piece of Marrakech’s rich history. You’ll visit iconic landmarks like the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, known for its beautiful 77-meter minaret visible across the city. At the Ali Ben Youssef Medersa, one of the oldest Islamic schools in North Africa, you’ll discover intricate tile work, carved wood, and a peaceful courtyard reflecting traditional Islamic architecture.

Walk through the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century palace built for a former grand vizier, with stunning gardens, fountains, and detailed mosaic interiors. Admire the Saadian Tombs, where members of the royal Saadian dynasty are buried, beautifully preserved and decorated with marble and cedar wood.
Finally, enjoy the Majorelle Gardens, a colorful botanical garden designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle and later restored by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent — filled with exotic plants, vibrant blue structures, and a small Berber museum.

Day 3: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat

After breakfast, we leave the lively streets of Marrakech behind and begin our journey toward the Atlantic coast, traveling comfortably via highway toward Casablanca. We will stop in Casablanca is the stunning Hassan II Mosque becase this is our main stop, this Mosque is one of the largest and most architecturally impressive mosques in the world. Perched dramatically over the Atlantic Ocean, it was intentionally built partly over the water to reflect a Quranic verse: “The throne of God was upon the water.” This makes the site not only visually striking but spiritually symbolic.

Inside, you’ll be amazed by its Italian marble interiors, intricate mosaic tile work, and the towering 210-meter minaret—the tallest in the world. What most visitors don’t know is that the mosque’s prayer hall has a retractable roof, which can open in minutes to let in fresh air and natural light. Beneath your feet, underfloor heating quietly provides comfort during cooler months, a rare luxury in religious sites.

As one of the few mosques in Morocco open to non-Muslim visitors, it offers an intimate glimpse into Islamic spirituality and Moroccan craftsmanship. Keep an eye out—many of the 6,000 artisans who worked on the mosque left tiny personal marks hidden within the wooden carvings and stone walls. If you’re lucky, a local guide might help you find one.

For those interested in quiet reflection, the mosque complex also houses a lesser-known Islamic library and museum, filled with ancient manuscripts and architectural displays. After visiting the Hassan II Mosque, you’ll have a break for lunch at a local restaurant in Casablanca, where you can enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Moroccan tajine, or international dishes depending on your taste.

From the vibrant energy of Casablanca, we continue to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital. A blend of historical charm and modern culture, Rabat offers a peaceful introduction to the imperial cities.

Explore Rabat’s historic treasures, including the Mechouar, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the towering Hassan Tower, all of which reflect Morocco’s royal and religious legacy. Don’t miss the picturesque Oudaya Kasbah, where white-and-blue walls overlook the crashing waves of the Atlantic. After seeing all these beautifull places through the day, we will take you to a hotel where you will rest for the night.

Day 4: RABAT → CHEFCHAOUEN (via Rif Mountains)

In the morning start your day with a hearty Moroccan breakfast Between 8:30–9:00 AM at your riad/hotel in Rabat, enjoying freshly baked bread, local jams, olives, and mint tea. After breakfast, your driver Yousif will meet you for a scenic drive north toward Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains.

We will Go through the quiet areas near Rabat and the nearby villages, then move toward the lush green valleys. Here the lush greenery, rolling hills, and traditional Berber villages create a peaceful and photogenic backdrop. This route is perfect for travelers, Make a stop at one of the high points along the Rif range for breathtaking photos of the valleys below. your guide can suggest a safe and picturesque rest area.

Around 1:00–1:30 PM, stop in a local roadside restaurant near Ouezzane or any clean family-run spot en route. Here you can enjoy dishes like grilled kefta (spiced meat), lentil soup, or chicken tagine with preserved lemon, served with fresh bread and mint tea.

Arrive in Chefchaouen by early to afternoon (approx. 3:00–3:30 PM). You’ll 1st get to experience the city’s famous for its blue painted streets, walls, and buildings. Take a few minutes to rest before exploring the magical town, After checking the Medina.

Enjoy your afternoon in the narrow lanes of the old Medina. Visit the local markets selling woolen shawls, hand-embroidered garments, and organic goat cheese found only in this region. Relax at a café in Plaza Uta el-Hammam and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful town. Visit befor evening Spanish Mosque viewpoint before sunset — it’s a short uphill hike (20–30 mins) offering stunning panoramic views of the blue city against the orange sky — perfect for photos and quiet reflection.

After your sunset walk, enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner on a rooftop terrace with views of the twinkling blue town. Try a Tagine with lamb and prunes, Couscous with vegetables, or harira soup, and Mint tea, followed by Moroccan local pastries.

Go back to your comfortable riad in the Medina — usually run by families, with colorful tiles, open spaces, and a quiet rooftop. Enjoy a restful night as you prepare for the next day your Moroccan journey.

DAY 5: CHEFCHAOUEN → VOLUBILIS → MEKNES → FES

Distances & Time:
⦁ Chefchaouen → Volubilis: 2 hrs
⦁ Volubilis → Meknes: 45 mins
⦁ Meknes → Fez: 1 hr 30 mins

In the morning after breakfast at you riad/hotel driver will pick you from Chefchaouen and drive through Rif Mountains and Rif villages. The road is peaceful and scenic, filled with olive groves, wild landscapes, and local shepherds. Enjoy a relaxing drive of approx. 2 hours toward Volubilis.

We will Arrive mid-morning at Volubilis, now you can explore Roman Ruins of Volubilis. A guided walk (optional) will take you through grand pillars, triumphal arches, and incredible mosaic tile floors that date back to the 2nd–3rd centuries. Don’t miss: The Basilica, The Capitoline Temple, House of Orpheus (for intricate mosaics), Spend about 1 to 1.5 hours exploring.

After Volubilis, continue a short drive (approx. 45 min) to Meknes, another of Morocco’s Imperial Cities. In Volubilis to stop for lunch at a local restaurant in the old medina — enjoy traditional dishes such as couscous, lamb tagine, or grilled kefta with mint tea.

After lunch, begin a walking tour of Meknes.

Continue your journey east toward Fez, a drive of approx. 1 hr 30 min. You’ll pass two valleys — one filled with olive trees and the other with distant mountains — before reaching the old city. We will arrive traditional riad in the Fez medina. Evening is free to relax — optional walk through the nearby streets or enjoy a rooftop dinner with views over the ancient city. Rest well for your full-day Fez medina exploration tomorrow.

Day 6: Discover Fez with a Local Guide — History, Culture & More

We begin our day with a hearty Moroccan breakfast at our traditional riad, featuring fresh bread, olive oil, jams, and mint tea. After a short while, our local guide accompanies us throughout the day for our tour of Fez.

Our first stop is the Golden Gates of the Royal Palace, a 7-gated structure built with colorful zellige tiles. Though we cannot enter, the breathtaking exterior offers incredible photo opportunities. Our guide explains the history of the Alaouite dynasty and the role of this palace in the Moroccan monarchy.

From here, we walk into Fez El Jadid and enter the Mellah, the historic Jewish quarter. This area gives insight into the Jewish community. We may also see an old synagogue or visit the Jewish cemetery (optional).

Next, we enter Fez el-Bali, the oldest part of the city and one of the world’s largest car-free urban zones. This 1,200-year-old medina has narrow alleys and timeless charm. Within the medina, our guide leads us to key landmarks:

Al-Qarawiyyin University – the world’s oldest existing degree-granting university, founded in 859 AD
Al-Attarine & Bou Inania Medersas – beautiful Islamic schools showcasing cedar woodwork and geometric tile art.

Moulay Idriss Mausoleum – the sacred burial site of the city’s founder.
Nejjarine Fountain – a restored public fountain surrounded by artisan woodwork and the nearby Carpentry Museum

We also visit Chouara Tannery, as well as textile and pottery cooperatives. We stop at a restaurant inside the medina to indulge in authentic flavors like chicken pastilla, lamb with prunes, or a vegetarian tagine.
After lunch, we continue through the medina to explore the vibrant souks. Our guide helps us bargain if we wish to purchase something authentic.

As the day winds down, we head to the Merenid Tombs or Borj Nord fortress, perched on a hill outside the medina. From here, we enjoy a panoramic sunset view of Fez.

We return to our riad in the evening. We may choose to rest or enjoy dinner on a rooftop terrace with live oud music and candle-lit ambiance.

Day 7: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

The day begins early in Fez, as your driver meets you at your riad. After a traditional Moroccan breakfast with mint tea and fresh bread, you’ll depart for the scenic journey south toward the Sahara Desert. Your first stop is Ifrane, a peaceful mountain town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its architecture and European-style layout. Take a short walk through its tree-lined streets and snap a few photos near the famous stone lion statue.

From Ifrane, you go towards the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop at the old cedar forests of Azrou. We will reach the town of Midelt by midday, located between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. Midelt is the perfect spot for lunch. Enjoy a warm Moroccan tagine at a local restaurant.

After lunch, the road continues through the dramatic Ziz Gorges, where cliffs rise on either side of the highway. You can stop here for a panoramic photo stop.

Arriving in Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil-rich lands and date palms, you’ll have a short break. As the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rise in the distance, you arrive in Merzouga. Here begins your camel trek. After this, We will arrive at your Berber desert camp, welcomed with mint tea. As soon as you will be served a refreshing mint tea. After settling into your private tent, you’ll enjoy a delicious traditional dinner around a fire. Here you will enjoy drumming, dancing, and storytelling under a blanket of stars in the desert night.

DAY 8: MERZOUGA DESERT→RISSANI→TODRA GORGE→DADES GORGE

Start your day early by sun slowly rise over the golden dunes. After taking in the peaceful morning, return to the camp for a traditional breakfast, featuring fresh bread, Moroccan mint tea, and local dates. Then, ride your camel back across the dunes to the main road in Merzouga.

Today’s journey takes you from the edge of the Sahara into the southern Morocco. You’ll pass palm groves, desert towns, ancient markets, and towering gorges. As you follow this route, You’ll see lush rivers flowing gently through valleys.

Our first stop is Rissani, once the capital of an ancient kingdom. Here see lively souk (market). You will be enjoyed Lunch in the small town of Tinejdad. After Lunch Next, we explore the dramatic Todra Gorge. Todra Gorge is a natural wonder with 300-meter-high cliffs carved by the Todra River.

On the way to Dades, we’ll stop for photos at the famous ‘Monkey Fingers’ rock formation. Next, You’ll arrive in Boumalne Dades just before sunset. Settle into your traditional guesthouse the valley cliffs. Enjoy a warm Moroccan dinner on the terrace. After Dinner and overnight in a riad. Rest in a cozy room with Berber-style and a private bathroom.

Day 9: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After a peaceful night in Dades, in morning breakfast in your Dades hotel. you’ll begin the day with a scenic drive through the Rose Valley. This area is known for the cultivation of damascene roses, harvested for perfumes and rosewater. Continue journy through the Skoura Oasis, a vast palm grove filled with old kasbahs.

You’ll pass by or stop at Kasbah Amridil, kasbahs of southern Morocco. This is a good point for photography. Next Reach Ouarzazate, nicknamed the “Hollywood of Africa”. Due to Its film studios and historic kasbahs. You can stop at Atlas Film Studios (optional entry). Here movies like The Mummy and Gladiator were shot.

Drive 30 km to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. Enjoy lunch in a restaurant near the kasbah. After lunch, take a walk through the ancient alleys. Many famous films (Gladiator, Game of Thrones) were filmed here. Visit a small Berber museum or sip mint tea on a kasbah terrace.

Begin your tour through the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters elevation). Brief coffee break at a panoramic café midway down the pass.

Arrive in Marrakech in the early evening (around 6–7 PM, depending on season and pace). If energy allows, you can walk to Jemaa el-Fna Square to watch street or enjoy a Moroccan dinner under the stars. Riad meal or local restaurant in the Medina.

Day 10: Marrakech Airport

After breakfast at your Riad or hotel in the Medina, enjoy a relaxed final morning. Your private driver will arrive to pick you up according to your departure schedule.
